The project must focus upon some aspect of agricultural finance. The general guidelines for the research report are as follows:
1. Your research report must examine an agricultural finance problem.
2. Your report must include a clear research question that seeks to explain some result or aberration in agricultural finance.
3. Your report should add something new to the existing literature on agricultural finance, or at the very least, add something new to the content of the course.
4. You must utilize at least four peer-reviewed articles from economics, finance, business, agricultural economics, or agribusiness EconLit listed academic journals and at minimum three different types of reference materials, such as peer-reviewed journal articles, scholarly books, databases, statistical abstracts, magazines, or newspapers.
5. You must properly and completely cite published work within the text of the paper and must include a complete and properly formatted reference list. Reference citations and reference list must follow the author-date format of The Chicago Manual of Style.
