An Argument Against the Death Penalty.
NOTE: This will be a full-sentence outline (APA format) for an argumentative essay based on research of scholarly sources. Prompt: Provide an argument for or against the Death Penalty – Discuss how the death penalty does or does not fulfill the goals of the major philosophies of punishment (retribution, deterrence, rehabilitation, and incapacitation) – Argue your position citing several examples to support your position (Papers should address at least FOUR of the following issues in their paper: morality, religion, costs, issues of innocence, issues related to administration, democratic values, issues related to race, studies on deterrent effect, etc. – Be sure to address the argument against your position and why your position is superior.
