Instruction: Reference: Black History Month – Spotlight on Segregated World War II Units to Highlight Black History Month and the 75th Anniversary of D-Day Objectives: • Timeline • Highlight 4 WII Segregated Military Units and their Contributions • Highlight some of the struggles that African-American Units dealt with during war time. Explanation of Event: Our group would like to celebrate the nationally recognized “Black History Month” with a series of 1 page slides that highlight the struggles and contributions of these segregated soldiers. We propose to start the month of with 1 page slide that defines some of conditions and treatment these soldiers dealt with during WWII. We will follow with a 1 page slide each week that highlights the mission, contribution and accomplishments a unit. We plan to highlight 4 units.
