As you read chapters 4-8 (the book calledRichard D. McKirahan), be thinking about the following questions and then write a reading response on any one of them 1.What are the common points and what are the main differences among the ideas of Thales, Anaximander, Anaximenes and Xenophanes? 2. Would you describe any of their ideas as philosophical? Which ideas, and why? 3. Is it reasonable to say that any of these people were doing science? 4. Which of the three Milesian thinkers do you find the most interesting and why? 5. What advances do you see occurring from one of these thinkers to the next? Was there progress? 6. Did they have any ideas or theories that resemble our own views about the world?
