Consider Burgelman et al.’s (2018) perspectives on a ‘combinatory model’ of
strategy-making and identify the strengths of this approach in embellishing
adaptive strategy making. In doing this, you might want to comment on how
this approach compares with Burgelman’s (2002) internal ecology model of
strategy-making (illustrated in Tools I, II, and III) that you have studied and
critiqued in the unit.
Give evidence of how a combination of planning and practice might have
shaped adaptive strategy-making in the context of your (or your chosen)
organisation’s environment, identifying strengths and weaknesses of planning
and practice dimensions.
To what extent does a combinatory approach help you explore strategic
