Submission Instructions: submit to eConestoga submission folder Your Task: (1) Read through the attached Outline Template, ensuring that you understand how it applies to your research paper. (2) Think about how your ideas would fit most effectively into the template, remembering that you can have more than three main points if your topic requires. (3) Fill out the outline with your ideas and supporting research – that is, the sources you will use as support in each section. (4) Include in-text citations and a references list in APA@Conestoga format. Length: As long as is required to fill in the template to clearly express your ideas. Only your thesis statement and topic sentences need to be complete sentences at this point. The rest of the outline can be filled in with key phrases that make your ideas and organization clear. Save your paragraphs for the first draft. Format: Please use 12-point Arial font. Reminders: The thesis and conclusion should be in complete sentences Main points can be in point form as long as it is clear what is being stated Include all citations and a References page Must include all of your research sources (4-5 sources; at least 2 from the Conestoga Library; you may not use textbooks from classes that you are currently enrolled in) Do not submit a rough draft of your essay; you will be asked to re-write the assignment as an outline.
