With the increased emphasis on controlling illegal drugs, should the emphasis be on jail, drug counseling/psychotherapy, or education for individual drug users? If the answer was education, at what age should this drug education begin, and how long should it last? If your answer was jail for the previous question, what should the jail terms be for various drug related offenses? If the answer was psychotherapy/counseling for the previous question, who would pay for it? Would combining the approaches be of value? Should some drugs be decriminalized? Be sure to employ the behaviorist or some other school of psychology in your reaction to this issue. Use one of the psychological schools of thought (behavioral or social learning psychology, biological psychology, psychodynamic psychology, humanistic psychology, etc.,) to analyze your papers. Make sure that you explain the theory briefly in a few sentences and that you mention it at salient points in the paper. You may also add your own personal views on the issues as well in the Reaction Paper. Relate as many concepts and theories to the topic as you can. Use these concepts to support or challenge the Reaction Paper topic. That is, use material to analyze the topic, and/or illustrate material by using examples pertaining to the topic. Make sure that you define the chosen concepts in the body of the paper.
