Distributed Systems Simulator (ds-sim).
Review report on distributed systems simulation/simulators centred around ds-sim. Introduction (1 page, again just a suggestion): a short introduction of your report including the aim(s) of this report and brief background on the topic of this assignment. This might include a short description of 1- discrete even simulation 2- client-server communication model 3- cloud computing including its concrete form (cloud data centres and their resources and jobs) Discrete event simulators for distributed systems (3 pages): survey and review existing simulators (at least three) closely related to ds-sim. In particular, you 1- summarise relevant works, 2- write your critics/reflection on them and 3- relate them to ds-sim (e.g., how similar/different). Conclusion (a half page): you may summarise the report discussing pros and cons of ds-sim and what can be done to improve.
