Description The annotated bibliography and the research paper will focus on a specific type of technology of your choice. The sources offered in your annotated bibliography will support your research paper. You will be asked to illustrate the sociological significance of this technology as it pertains to social change. Your technology can be a material item, like the television, or a social invention, like capitalism. Your discussion of social change can include shifts in norms, interaction, ideology, relationships, geographic boarders, work, family structure, and more. Your assignment is to find, summarize and analyze sources that pertain to your discussion of this technology. Your task is to find two scholarly and two mass media sources. This will be an exercise in conducting a formal literature review. You will gain experience in researching distinct types of sources, assessing their value and credibility, and documenting them properly.
