Summary
The aim of this assignment is to demonstrate your ability to analyze discourse in new media using frameworks and theories that are introduced in the module as well as to show your competence at presenting the tasks involved through a website you will create during the module. There is also an element of self-reflection. All of these help show and develop skills which are important to your course (and your future), such as the analysis of language in use, reflection on learning and experiences and effective presentation of work. Please make use of formative assessment opportunities to get feedback on your work too.
Assignment Description
This assignment involves creating and presenting a portfolio of work built up over the course of the semester. You will have the opportunity to write and receive feedback on some of the tasks outlined below. The portfolio must contain the following:

1 Data analysis project (1400 words)

2 Digital discourse analysis tasks (2 x 700 words)

1 Self-reflection piece (700 words)
