This assignment is just answering questions to a discussion board post that is building on the larger assignment that is due later in this course which is a research proposal. Here are the questions to be answered:
- Identify the target population to which your proposal findings will be generalized.
- Identify the accessible population you will use for your sample. Be specific – name the location and unit and specific site, if applicable. Describe the agency.
- What sampling method will you use (simple random, cluster, systematic, convenience,quota, purposive, etc.)?
- Identify inclusion and exclusion criteria for your sample.
- How will you recruit your sample?
- What is your target sample size? Explain
The Research Proposal that will be written will be on Hospital Acquired Infections (HAI’s). These questions should be answered based upon using HAI’s as part of the assignment.
Earlier in this course my research proposal was approved. The question to be focused on is: Does staff turnover and lack of education and training contribute to the overall issue of hospital acquired infections. I will attach a pdf of the article that is also used for this proposal.
