Immigration in the United States from 1890 – 1924.
The Midterm Project is going to examine the topic of Immigration. Students need to acquire and read the monograph Not Like Us. You will then find three primary sources associated with immigration in the United States from 1890 – 1924. Finally, students will write an informal reflection essay. In a minimum of 1000 words students need to discuss: The time period being studied, research topic, individuals involved, and any other significant factors of your topic. Need to include a brief overview of the monograph you analyzed and your opinion of it. Discuss the three primary sources you found, how they relate to your topic, and what they taught you about the time period being studied.
