Previously, you completed the responsive design website for the Dog Hall of Fame. Moving forward, you will update those pages to apply new HTML5 semantic elements and then style those element.
Open the external style sheet you created in Week 5 and save it with the name dogstyles07.css in the styles folder within your class folder.
Add your name and the current date as a comment to the first line of the dogstyles07.css file.
Open the files you created for the Dog Hall of Fame in Week 5 in your HTML editor and make sure your name and the current date are added as a comment to the first line of all files.
Modify the link to the external style sheet to reference dogstyles07.css.
Decide how you will integrate new HTML5 semantic elements. At a minimum, update the HTML and CSS files to do the following:
Update the winner.html document content and integrate figure and figcaption elements. Three dog images are provided in the Data Files for Students if needed for this project.
Integrate a section element.
Integrate an article element.
Integrate an aside element.
Style the figure element.
Style a section element.
Style an article element.
Style an aside element.
Apply a multiple-column layout.
Use the opacity and text-shadow properties.
Refine your style sheet as desired.
Adjust viewport widths where necessary.
Add comments to note all changes and updates.
Save and test your files. Part-2 — The final project is a combination of all the different web pages/parts you have created in this course. Link and combine all the different pages created in this course into one complete website. Add your finishing touch to make it your very own and a website of which you can be proud. You can modify, add, or remove content, as well as add additional audio, video, and CSS. Once you are satisfied with your project you can submit it.
