Prepare for each question, and you will need to submit a maximum 1-page summary for the chosen take home essay question advised by your Unit Convenor. Here are the proposed questions: 1)Most organizations who have an IT Department have a CIO. From studying this unit and research of your own discuss the four (4) fundamentalattributes that make a good CIO. Provide real life evidence of your findings. 2)Budgeting is without doubt one of the most challenging aspects for CIO’s to manage. Discuss what makes budgeting so difficult in respect to amedium to large organization. 3)Adventures of an IT Leader; is a text designed to get you thinking about the challenges CIO’s face in the role. Using the text as a guide what are thekey times in Jim Barton’s 12-month tenure that challenged him the most. 4)Managing Talent is important, what are the key drivers to keeping a good talent pool and weeding out the bad apples. (2400word) 1. The final essay and the summary of information should correlate, failure to do so will either result in a very low mark or a fail. (Rubric for the essay is attached). 2.
