To obtain full marks read the marking rubric as displayed on Moodle. Each student will turn in a Journal containing 6 journal entries reflecting on what they learned on the subject matter. Of the 6 journal entries 3 are mandatory. Each of the 6 entries should have a date, references, and a title that is linked to the course material (assigned readings, learning activities, newspaper articles, textbook, Journals etc.) and/or lectures and discussions.Use peer reviewed Journals and professional publications. You are not to use Wikipedia. Please visit the library to learn about using the library on-line. There are some articles that might be good ideas for journals. that you may be interest in the resources section above. 3 Mandatory topics are: Describe the Legal Framework for Employment Law in Canada. Secondly, Please find the Employment Standards Act of BC and visit one other provinces Employment Standards and compare the law in regards to hours of work. You must use the actual source document. Please research your dream job and find job advertisement for it. (please include the add in your journal. Please write a cover letter and prepare a resume to apply for that job. If you don’t have all the knowledge skills and abilities for the job, what are you missing and how will you get them? Secondly, describe 2 Behavioural and 2 Situational Questions that might be asked in an interview for this job. Please prepare your answers for the the behavioural questions only using the STAR Method of Behavioural Interviewing. Research some type of HR technology and tell me the benefits of it. Remember each journal must have: Title of journal, date of completion and references. Your overall all journal should have all documents in included and it must be formatted in a professional manner, for example page numbers, the resume and cover letter as it would be if you handed into a company.
