Language Acquisition 1) What is the difference between syntactic and semantic bootstrapping? 2) Please create a timeline for an imaginary child named “Mariam” that gives major landmarks in her linguistic development. Your timeline should contain at least 10 points with specific time- references (ages at which some aspect of her language development will likely occur). You decide which points to include. On at least 4 of these points you should make a comment on how Mariam’s particular family background could influence her linguistic development.
