Description to carry out a case study on one child, young person.you will gather data on one chosen child demonstrating a number and variety of different observation and assessment techniques(five in total)2000 words.Examples of observations could be Narrative(playground socialising ),Time sampling record sheet(Behaviour),Checklist(Behaviour),Post-its(activity behaviour). Event sample(behaviour) thats for 30% of overall grade. the observations will than inform the submission of my summative Report(which is 3000 words -70% of overall grade).1 introduction of case study(what it is ?, child profile , child needs their special plan, background info.-the introduction could be first subheading.) 2. Five different techniques of observation plus evaluation and analysis. 3.Main body report-reflect on the observation(from theory Piaget, Albert Bandura,Bruner, Harry Harlow ,Child development Theory, Link to curriculum ,analysis and evaluation. For the report use your own subheading maybe around 6 of them example write about criticism of your techniques in the report :would another technique have been more suitable?,does it make sense?is it confidential? and link it to Theory. Reflect on the observations with reflection from Theory-reflecting cycle to be used.
