Logic Circuits Lab.
In this Lab, the students need to do the following experiments: 1. “AND” gate experiment a) Read the data sheet document of the two IC chips carefully and learn their basic logical and electrical properties. b) Construct a circuit that has two-input and connect a LED to the output to test the logic function by connect the input to different input combinations. c) Draw the circuit diagram and write your observations. d) Draw the truth table for your circuit. ** Use 470 ohm resistor in series with LED to connect to the output of the AND gate. e) Construct a 4-input AND gate with the given 2-input AND gates test your circuit. f) Draw the truth table for your circuit. 2. “NOT” gate experiment a) Read the data sheet document carefully and understand the basic information about the IC chip. b) Connect the NOT gate to the output terminal of your experiment part 1 and repeat the experiment in part 1 now with the NOT gate as the final output. c) Draw the circuit diagram and the truth table for your experiment. 3. Write what you have learned from this lab after you have finished the lab. In the final lab report, you need to submit a single document and copy each requirement above your own answer.
