Analyze one of the short stories that we have read for class by discussing the following elements of the story: plot, point of view, character, setting, tone and style, symbol, and theme. (Use the checklist found on pp. 47-49 of the text to help you.) You must include in your essay a minimum of five in-text citations from the story to support your analysis. Examine the essay scoring tool that has been distributed in class, and consider its criteria while writing your essay.
