Overview: This assignment asks students to apply the concepts taught throughout the course to a real-world problem context. The purpose of this assignment is for students to meaningfully apply core concepts in managerial problem solving to a real managerial problem context. What to do: Reflect on core managerial problem solving principles, and identify a real-world problem you’d like to explore. Develop a report that: 1)Identifies the problem 2)Discusses the problem’s location and implications 3)Addresses the problem 4)Provides a solution and implementation plan 5)Outlines the theory/rationale behind the solution and implementation plan 6)Provides some basic data to show assumptions have been tested or validated. Requirements: Type your submission in a MS Word® (or equivalent) document Length: 2000 words +/- 10%. Short report format. Marking Criteria: Your assessment will be marked based on these components: 1)Problem identification 2)Problem location and implications 3)Management of problem 4)Solution and implementation plan 5)Description of theory/rationale behind the solution and implementation plan NOTE : Please use the same rationale something small in scope, from work, community, school, etc. Please stay away from wicked problems such as climate change, war, terrorism, water-crisis etc. References not required.
