INSTRUCTIONS:
- Identify and analyze the External Inputs that are relevant.
- Identify and analyze who the Actors are.
- Identify and analyze the Internal Inputs of the actors you identified.
- Identify and analyze the Conversion Mechanisms that are/were used.
- Identify and analyze the Outputs.
Your paper must contain a significant amount of detail, and analysis of that detail. It is not good enough to say “the employees are one of the actors” – you must determine if there are different groups of employees, or different classes of employees, etc. For example: in the UNB case, the employees were made up of professors, librarians, and teaching staff and it is your job to understand if these employees all have the same issues or ideas. This is a third term course and I expect a high level of performance.
The work stoppage that you will be assigned is a real life situation so you will be learning about, and researching it on the internet. While some of what you write about will be based on what you read, this assignment is NOT a book report where all you do is repeat what someone else has written and reported on. I want you to analyze the information based on what you learn in this course and what you feel about the situation you are working with.
