Description In this assignment, you will demonstrate your knowledge of leadership theories as well as well as professional practice. Identify 3 major leadership challenges confronting contemporary leaders. For each leadership challenge, create an annotated bibliography with 5 current articles that discuss and address this leadership issue. You will have a total of 15 articles – 5 for each leadership challenge that you identify. For each topic, locate, read, and evaluate five peer reviewed full-text professional journal articles using the Klinck Memorial Library’s online databases (http://www.cuchicago.edu/library/). Websites will not be accepted. [A tip for searching: When you use keyword searching, using a root word, such as “leader,” will net more results. “Leadership” would result in fewer “hits.”] If you need assistance with the databases or searching, ask one of the librarians. They are happy to assist you. Please note: All articles must be from peer reviewed academic or professional journals and must be published within the last five years. Any articles that do not conform to these requirements will not receive credit. Your Annotated Bibliography should start with the CUC cover page and then an APA title page. Your Annotated Bibliography should be set up with the 3 topics used as headings (see APA Manual for correct formatting of headings). For each article, provide the citation in APA format. Below the citation, summarize the article in the first paragraph and describe how it relates to the topic. In the second paragraph, provide your evaluation of the article, including for which reading audience(s) it would be of value and why. Also explain whether it useful to you as an organizational leader or as an aspiring leader and why. (Each paragraph should be at least five, and no more than ten sentences. Be concise!)
