After completing the videos and readings from Unit 1, respond to the following questions in this two-part assignment. In Unit 1 you reviewed various patrol types and read research about police patrol, including the Kansas City Experiment. Part I: Briefly explain the results of the Kansas City Experiment and why it is important to patrol. Part II: Your patrol supervisor has asked you to develop a proactive policing strategy to get out in front of events in the hopes of preventing crimes. She specifically mentioned strategies like zero tolerance and stop and frisk. What are some of the pros and cons of implementing these types of programs?
