Position Paper on Bacon’s Rebellion.
Description Bacon’s Rebellion was an incredibly important event that influenced the development of English colonial America, especially in the Chesapeake. After reading the three documents provided, describe the reasons both sides give for doing what they did using all three documents. Decide which side, Bacon or Berkeley, had the more ethical reason for the course of action that they did, taking into account the whole episode of the rebellion. As you write this please briefly take into account what life was like for indentured servants. Take into account the relationship with the Native Americans and what each side had as their overall goal. Your paper should be between 1½ and 2 page long with normal academic specifications (1 in. margins, 11-12 pt. font, double spaced etc.) You should have abbreviated footnotes for this assignment.
