Coursework 1 – Specification: Organisational Performance is a broad concept used synonymously with productivity, efficiency, effectiveness and, more recently competitiveness. There are growing efforts made by human resource management (HRM) theorists to try to establish a causal link between HRM and performance. This has led to both practicebased and empirical studies which examine the potential contribution that strategic human resource policies and practices can make to improving organizational performance. Based on an organisation of your choice, produce a management report evaluating how its strategic HRM policies and leadership have or have not improved organisational performance. Your report should be both academically and practically sound i.e. drawing on existing empirical and conceptual debate of HRM and performance. 1,500 words
