– TITLE MUST BE SPECIFIC – ex: “the theme of isolation in the heart of darkness” (do not use the thesis statement as title) Compare and contrast the characters of Marlow and Kurtz. What impact does Kurtz have on Marlow? How is the last gesture in recalling his death to others tell us of the man Marlow has become?
