Reflection: Disease, Mobility, and Globalization.
Write a paper reflection on all the readings. The one-page reflection should not be written as a laundry list summary of the readings but rather thought through a written document where ideas connect. Font size shall be 11.5 Times New Roman single-spaced. This Module considers the phenomena of mobility and disease/infectious disease both separately as well as in confluence to understand the impacts of globalization. Themes covered include the emergence and reemergence of particular diseases, understanding different waves of migration and refugee flows, the impact of tourism on the flow of people as well as the spread of infectious diseases, the role of trade in facilitating the spread of disease, urbanization and the spread of disease, drug resistant microbes, as well as particular environmental factors and their impact on disease.
