Individual report (including a reflective log): There are two components: Report of 1500 words This is the main report where you will discuss what you have learned (from the module/ live project) and how you will use this learning in your future personal and professional development An appendix with a number of log entries Showing reflection and learning on a number of key experiences throughout the module, team involvement, & contribution to the live project (3 entries are sufficient: no less no more) Reflective log entries [include as an APPENDIX] Describe critical events/ experiences in the module & client project, evaluate own behaviour, explain individual learning and actions Introduction (100 words): Set the scene by referring to the importance of reflection for learning from experience, linking this with your…. Aim & objectives Structure of the report Main part: Before discussing your learning [Brief – 100 words] Refer briefly to your experiences in the module & live project , proof of your reflection (include log entries in Appendix), and model used to reflect (e.g. Gibbs) Discuss the learning gained (1000 words) Evaluate (check your log) & identify the different types of learning gained (e.g. team working, leadership, problem-solving, business growth etc.) [focus on 2-3 types] Identify relevant theories/evidence to each type of learning gained (e.g. team working, leadership, problem-solving etc.) (check books & journals) Discuss each type of learning gained: E.g. Team work, leadership, problem-solving, business growth skills (explain how, use examples, link with logs) Contextualise/link/blend that learning with appropriate theories and evidence (e.g. theories on team working, leadership etc) Implications: Relate the learning gained to your future personal and professional development
