Relational leaadership
Based on the Relational Leadership Model (RLM), presented in Module 8 Unit 1: — provide brief individual answers to each the following questions, THEN — provide a collaborative summary discussion of your group’s responses*** to the following questions: a) What is your philosophy of leadership? – What are three (3) core values of most importance to you as a leader? b) What interpersonal dynamics (process) are operating in the “group” you lead in your work setting? – Is there a common purpose? – Is anyone excluded in any way? c) What is most difficult for you about leading ethically, and why? d) Which of French and Raven’s sources of power have you used and/or experienced? – What is your experience regarding “abuse of power” and how have such situations been dealt with? e) How can you bring your strengths into alignment to be the leader you want to be? A chart format may be most useful for presenting/analyzing this information.
