Assessment 3 is linked to assessment 1 and 2. The purpose of this assessment it is to expand your HR knowledge and skills through the development of a selection program that outlines the recommended job performance predictors to recruit and select the most appropriate person for the job you described in assessment 2. The selection program should include: • A cover page • A table of Contents • An Executive summary • Job Analysis information – Job description and job specification. You should update these as necessary following the feedback you received for assessment 2. • Identification of Relevant Job performance measures(i.e. what constitutes success in the job) • Identification of the characteristics – i.e. the Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs) necessary for the job • Overview of the recruitment and selection process (consider using a diagram or flowchart) • Recruitment strategy – provide an overview of the recruitment methods considered, a description of what method/s you have chosen and the rationale for the choice. • Selection strategy – what selection assessments were considered, and rationale for the selection assessment devices recommended. • Inclusion of the assessment devices (find or construct) that are likely to include forms and checks, interviews, assessment of ability and assessment of personality (this can be in the appendix). • Critical Reflection (500 words) of producing a selection program o If you had to produce a selection program again what would you do differently? o How could you improve the process? o What would be like to do this as a HR professional where you might have to conduct many interviews? o What did you find challenging? Why? What would did you learn from this? o What did you find easy? Why? What would did you learn from this? Submission: • Please submit via the LMS a Microsoft word document that includes all elements of your selection program and critical reflection (500 words) of the process of producing the selection program.
