Group Assessment: groups to comprise of 2 or 3 students In this first assessment, a situation analysis, students will be required to work in teams of two or three to collect, evaluate and interrogate information and any other relevant facts of the current and past situation for a brand within a randomly assigned category in the Australian grocery market. Important notes: To complete the assessment, the team will be required to apply both primary and secondary research techniques in order to collect sufficient information for evaluation and interrogation of the marketplace. You will be required to demonstrate business acumen through application of analysis (interrogation of data, identification of trends, and interpretation of analysis) along with the ability to synthesise information obtained from many sources; and apply critical thinking in order to arrive at a well-supported position as to the situation of the brand. It is expected that you will appropriately select and apply the various models presented in the weekly materials.
