The Food-Energy-Water Nexus.
The assignment is to read and understand the four documents with content I will upload, and write a post answering the following prompts. In the four documents uploaded, one is the lesson lecture content you need to read, and the other three are the required readings for this week as well. For you discussion post this week think about scale in relation to the week’s material. What are the implications of global scale food systems and food markets? Does scale matter in Nexus assessments? Is a Nexus approach more important at some scales than others (think – local, regional, national, global)? How and why is a nexus approach different at these different scales? Think about Nexus trade-offs in your own life your own food water and fuel consumption. Do you think a Nexus approach would change your environmental footprint? How and why?. Your post should be 300-400 words. Posts should be well-written and carefully edited (you are encouraged to prepare them in a word document before posting). You should use embedded references and proper APA citation for all submissions in this course, including your posts. You should cite at least 2 of the weeks assigned material in your post.
