The study of corrections is essentially the search for ananswer to a very old question. This question is what should we dowith these criminals? Should we punish them? If sohow? Should we rehabilitate them? If so how? The firstthree chapters of the text have explored many approaches tothis problem. Now I ask you this question: What shouldbe the mission of corrections?
