UMCDMB-15-2 Introductory Research Project for Marketing and Events

  • Upon successful completion of this assignment students will have demonstrated the awareness of/ability to: · Negotiate access to organisations and research participants (started in the first semester) · Agree a mixed methods organisational enquiry project in response to feedback from your individual assessments in the Research Methods moduleConsider the ethics of organisational enquiry

A marking grid is used to calculate your mark for each of the sections identified above. Sections are weighted as outlined above. Word counts reflect this weighting. Please see Appendix A for the marking grid and criteria.

Formative feedback

Formative feedback provides opportunities to reflect on your ongoing work and preparation for your assignment. Feedback will be provided as:

  • Feedback on your presentations and research proposals from Semester 1 during the workshops.
  • Feedback in workshop sessions on your research instruments and working with pilot data.
  • Cafe MET drop-ins during term time
  • Make the most of attendance – you will also receive informal feedback verbally through all teaching sessions.
