You are required to select ONE (1) of the Human Rights topics covered by another group
from your class (not the same as the one you covered in your group presentation) and
write an extended response (500 words) that responds to these three things:
1. Summarise the human rights issue from your chosen seminar and
explain how it is in breach of the principles of the UDHR.
2. Give one (1) strong example of how the international community (eg.
governments, OR NGOs, OR the UN and its agencies, OR the ICC) has
responded to the issue.
3. Critically evaluate the effectiveness of the response(s) and include
recommendations for further action/response.
