In this Unit, we will be doing some reading analysis and returning to dominant-narrative and counter-narrative construction. We will also be starting our last reading of the semester where we will explore a young Ernesto “Che” Guevara through his travel diaries and his experiences throughout South America. Keep in mind how Ernesto engages in “de-tropicalizing” experience with the peoples, land, and culture through his travels. The readings and film culminate with our Final.
