ENG 479 Aircraft Technology: Aircraft Hydraulic System Investigation

ENG 479 Aircraft Technology: Aircraft Hydraulic System Investigation.

This investigation into aircraft hydraulics systems is primarily a research based piece of assessment. You should pick an aircraft of your own choice, which has a definable hydraulic system, and describe in detail the systems architecture and operation – This should include diagrams, and drawings, and as much information specific to the aircraft.

Research into airworthiness regulations specific to hydraulics systems on aircraft should also be made and written up, using EASA, JAR, CAA or FAA rules.

Reference should then be made to the flight safety and redundancy of your selection of aircraft’s hydraulic system, describing what happens in an emergency, and showing how it meets, or otherwise the airworthiness regulations.

This report should be at least 2000 words, diagrams and drawings are permissible, all references must be recorded using IEEE referencing.
