Assignment 1: Event management.
As an extension from Assignment 1 and your group ‘event bid’ pitch, you are required to write an individual report of 2500 words (+/- 10%). Your report needs to present a critical analysis of the selected sporting event and destination you presented within your group presentation. The report should be written under the assumption that your ‘event bid’ pitch was successful, and that the proposed event has been shortlisted against three other destinations. Thus, you must present a more detailed ‘event bid’ proposal to convince the organising committee of selecting your destination as the host city.
