For this assignment do a summary of each of Poe’s 3 tales: The Black Cat, The Cask of Amontillado & The Tell-Tale Heart. In your summaries summarize it from the point of view of Irony or Revenge. Do some research on the web to learn more about the features of Irony. The summary should be ½ a page each and MLA formatting. Begin with a formal introduction of each tale: For example: “Edgar Allan Poe’s tale, The Cask of Amontillado is an ironic story about a man who…” (Then describe the ironic details that resulted in the death of Fortunato).
