The Outsiders Summative Assessment Task #1 Character Profile (Infographic) The audience’s understanding of a character is shaped by the author in four ways: the character’s appearance – facial features, body, facial expressions, clothing, hair, etc. the character’s actions – how characters act/respond to their environment/other people. the character’s speech – what characters say to others and how they say it. the character’s reputation – what other characters say about (or to) the character and how they say it For this task, you must create an infographic (character profile) that illustrates all four of these characterization techniques in relation to your assigned character.
