The assignment explores various theoretical constructs regarding human behavior and multidimensional aspects of the psychological person. (The rationale for this assignment: Social workers are often called upon to do training in and out of their agency settings.)This assignment address intervention with individual, families, group, organizations, and communities, and the evaluation of the interactive process of social work practice with individuals, families, groups, organizations, and communities. Part A: Presentation: Students will participate in the presentation of multiple dimensions of the person. Student will be graded on your ability to thoroughly and thoughtfully cover the topic, the clarity of your presentation, and your ability to hold the interest of your audience through dialogue. You are encouraged to use audio-video material and outside resources as you see fit. The presentation will be no more than 20 to 30 minutes. Grading will be based on the overall performance (see Appendix for group presentation rubric). Part B: Individual Paper: Student will turn in their individual part of the presentation, noting personal contributions and learning achieved through a study of topics linked with this assignment. Note: You must provide evidence/documentation of support for all your ideas in this assignment. This paper should be a minimum of five (double spaced as per APA style) pages. You can use the text as your primary reference, but be sure to use at least two (2) additional references from the professional literature.
