Critiquing and Utilizing Qualitative Research.
Begin this assignment by locating three qualitative studies related to your PCF. Each study should address a research topic that can be used to inform clinical decision making with regard to your PCF. After identifying these three studies, write a brief 1-paragraph description of each qualitative study that includes the general focus of the study, what type of qualitative design was used in the study (grounded theory, phenomenology, case study, etc.), and its applicability to your PCF. Be sure that you also include an APA 6thedition citation for each article. Email these descriptions and PDFs of the three articles to your instructor by Wednesday. Your instructor will then provide guidance on their suitability for the second part of this assignment. After he or she has done so, select one of the studies you found and complete the Qualitative Study Critique Form (found in the Week 6 Books and Resources area). Length: 4-5 pages Your paper should demonstrate thoughtful consideration of the ideas and concepts that are presented in the course and provide new thoughts and insights relating directly to this topic.
