The Grave of the Fireflies Case Study.
A research essay done for a case study on the film ‘The Grave of the Fireflies’ by Studio Ghibli, written with a response to the following prompt: “How has your chosen case study been shaped by local cultural contexts, and how has this regional cultural identity been received and/or interpreted in the West?” This film needs to be analysed in order to develop a focus and argument in response to this prompt. It is also important to have research from academic and peer reviewed sources (and going beyond them), along with structure and clarity of communication (including appropriate referencing).
