Thematic Unit and Presentation.
For the assignment, create an integrated, thematic unit covering all curriculum areas: Language art/literature Math Science Social Studies Art Music/movement Dramatic play Health/safety Physical development Field trips The unit can cover one week to several weeks. Technology should be present within the unit for at least one activity. Differentiation and accommodations must be unique and appropriate (for example, gifted children will not always be accommodated through the use of peer tutoring). Appropriate assessments and assessment tools must be utilized to check for understanding. Homework extension activities should be creative and family-friendly. After you have completed the Thematic Unit, create a presentation to explain it.
