There could never be one way to classify women in Hip Hop. Female Hip-Hop artists come in all shades, shapes, and sizes.
Additionally, their messages are multi-faceted, diverse and unique to that particular woman’s experience, background, goals, and agendas. That said, what messages and/or what female hip hop artist(s) do you find to be THE MOST essential to Black women’s liberation, success, ascendancy, and prosperity ? Thoroughly explain your answer.
