This research is for a Malaysian University where English and other foreign languages (French, Korean and Japanese) are taught as a second language. The University offers a mentor-mentee programme for weak students to help them master a second language quickly before the semester ends (each semester is 14weeks long). A research should be done to check if these students are capable in achieving Higher grades in a second language through the help of the mentor – mentee program. The mentor are tutors/lecturers of their field. A pre test and post test is required to assess students. The students used in the is research are learning both English and French as their subject. The pre test and post test must be both tested for English n French. This way, Mentors can assess their students performances. A questionnaire should be prepared for students to evaluate their performance as well as to evaluate their mentor. Things to have are: Pre test Post test Questionnaire
