Paper must conform to APA format, guidelines are available at https://www.apastyle.org/ Hello I want to do my paper on interrelationship of educational and societal trends of teaching dyslexic based learning difficulties of children and teens. I want to do this topic because I am dyslexic myself. I find it interesting that there are different teaching methods as well as different ideas on how people teach students with dyslexia, because like my self learning other languages is very hard. I’m curious to dig into how teachers deal with students with dyslexia and the teaching style that they use in order to get their message across to them and help them succeed in passing classes. The first five links should be used adding others to better present the paper are available at the bottom of the instructions to help fully answer the topic. 1) https://www.cbsnews.com/news/dyslexia/ I would like to use this link in my report to show how common dyslexia has become in society and how important it’s for people to learn about it so if someone they love turns out that they have Dyslexia they can get them the right treatment. Also, so that teachers can better prepare themselves for the extra work that they might have to do to help the student succeed. I also want to show how the support of family helps. 2) https://timesofmalta.com/articles/view/my-family-of-four-dyslexics.740298 This is an example in which I could use in my paper which talks about a family in which three of the children have dyslexia. 3) https://childmind.org/article/understanding-dyslexia/ I would like to explain in my paper what is dyslexia for my readers to be informed about dyslexia. 4) https://www.citizen-times.com/story/news/local/2019/10/14/dyslexia-awareness-grows-but-lesson-expensive-and-lack-teachers/3909822002/ This article talks about whether all students receive help with dyslexia. There are many schools that don’t have this help at schools. 5) https://dyslexia.yale.edu/resources/parents/stories-from-parents/navigating-school-with-a-dyslexic-child/ This another example of a mom and her son, this would help me see other cases and of the experiences people go through.
