Paper details Assess one or more issues related to the governance and accountability of the selected organization(Blackberry), using one or more themes of the course; submit a report (15-20 pages maximum, excluding appendices). Grading of the paper will take into account clarity, analysis, rigor, depth and the validity of the findings and recommendations. Analyze Blackberry company by Timeline (governance) (Four stages: Invention, growth, decline, today), explain each timeline regarding board governance, judge governance is good or not. Governance assessment of Black Berry, all things board account for, from start to today. Should include: Board competence, strategy, strategy execution, enabling lever, where to compete, how to win, board dynamic, senior management dynamic, risk issue, leader issues, Did blackberry response correctly, what is the strategy they used to response? What happened (good or bad)? Use sources from Magazine, newspaper, security filing, annual report, including Financial numbers.
