Media Analysis.
The media analysis. You have a set of five options for news articles that could be used for purposes of this paper. Please be aware that the paper may only use one (and only one) of the options below; papers may be not written about articles other than those included below.1 The paper must, in conducting the analysis of the selected media report, compare and contrast how this report/article would be seen by at least two schools of thinkers in political sociology, from among the following perspectives: (1) Marxists and Neo-Marxists (Marx, Block); (2) Weberians (Weber, Tilly); (3) Elite Theorists (Pareto, Mosca, Mills, Domhoff); (4) Tocquevillians (Tocqueville, Skocpol). You should take this as an opportunity to think through their ideas and apply them to the case at hand. Feel free to quote portions of the article you select in order to support your argument, but avoid quoting extensively to fill space.
