INSTRUCTIONS FOR FINAL SUBMISSION OF COUNTRY PROFILE This a completely different submission so please makes sure to submit in the correct blackboard location. The location is located on the left hand side of your home page. Click Country Profile and click on Part 3 Your submission will consist of the following and should be no less than 5 pages and no more than 8 pages total. It should be in a format I can download such as office or rtf and MUST be submitted as an attachment (under no circumstances can you write your report on the actual grading page in the comment section) 1. Cover Page with you name,date,class and title of paper • Make sure your coverpage includes a graphic and abstract 2. PAGE 1: Country Profile Summary ( 1 PAGE ONLY-AND PLEASE USE TOPIC HEADLINES AND BULLETS—DO NOT JUST GIVE ME A PAGE OF SOLID TEXT WITH NO FORMATTING) • This will be the hardest part of the report. You have done all the research work in Parts 1 and 2 now you need to carefully distill that information into a brief concise summary • The Summary should have these headings o Brief history of country—location, language and anything else you think is important o Brief overview of country economy—remember you gauge the health of a country by economic indicators. Does your county have a healthy economy with a growing GDP, decreasing unemployment, solid budget and good infrastructure? Or just the opposite? o Advantages of doing business in country, this would include talking about their competitive advantages, labor force , cost and quality of living and pro-business government and stable leadership o Disadvantages of doing business in country, this would include outlining the threat and barriers to doing business in your country if they exist, such as language differences, cultures and norms unfriendly government o Finally you should give me your opinion of why you would consider doing or not doing business in your country of choice after all the research you have done (remember just because a country is not as developed as others does not mean you cannot do business there—in fact just the opposite sometimes there is greater potential for profit if you can find a way to leap the hurdles) 3. PAGES 2-5: Supporting text and graphics ( not to exceed 4 or 5 pages) This is where your cutting, pasting and consolidation will come in—these are your exhibits to support your summary page. A combination of text and graphics are required:; you must combine them with your spin. For instance if you give a budgetary graph also give me text and opinion to go with it. Each area you choose to submit in your summary page should be supported by both text and graphics in this section 4. PAGE 6: Commentary on Global Business • Compose a summary of what you learned in this class with regard to the principles you have studied and this project. Include the concepts that have made the most sense to you and why. 5. PAGE 7: Reference page • APA format for all references used in this section
